Which one do you like the best?

I'd have to say Tune-O-Matic simply because it's stable. I do like to have a guitar that has a Floyd Rose though. I'm also starting to be a fan of a Bigsby.

You know I was gonna add Bigsby as an option, but I didn't think anyone would mention it.

I haven't had a stopbar since my Gibson V, and I'm so used to a recessed floyd, although I like a topmount floyd as well.
I have a Kahler, but I dont have a string thru anymore.

I'd say about the only bridge that I dont like is the vintage strat style trem. Don't kill me guys!

I forgot to add a fixed bridge also.
I was just wondering cause we never really talk about bridges all that much and I was just wondering what everyone uses or prefers.

I've had enough guitars to be able to say that the Tune-O-Matic is the most stable bridge that I've ever had. Bigsby's can be a pain in the ass at times, they tend to wander if they're not set up correctly. I haven't owned a guitar with one, but I am interested in picking up one eventually.

As far as Floyd Rose's go, my main guitar for years was a Japanese Strat that had a recessed original Floyd Rose. It was fantastic once I had it set up. It was stolen and I haven't been able to find another one to replace it, but I will. I miss being able to do tricks.

My Jackson V's all have recessed floyds, and they are right handed. Being a lefty I cant even take full advantage of having a bar cause it gets in my way. I should eventually drill the other side out and relocated and re bend my bar. For dives, I reach under the edge of the floyd and pull up with my finger tips, and it's just as effective for most things.
I mainly use floyds for the tuning stability. Once they are setup they usually hold tune extrememly well depending on the setup. Most dont like them cause they are harder to set up if you arent used to them, but I just cant seem to go without those finetuners.

Its simple physics. If you are looking for pure tone and natural sustain, nothing comes close to string thru body.

Agreed!
Some things are often traded off for the feel, and ease of tuning, such as my case. It's all about compromise.

I don't feel that there is an overall superior bridge design, becaue each one gives to take.

I personally like everyone of those styles except for the Vintage trem, my fav is the Recessed Floyd though, cause it's the most comfortable to me.
I have owned atleast one of each style and I currently own:
4) Recessed Floyd equipped
1) Top mounted Floyd equipped
2) Kahler equipped

I hope to have another string thru again, and a stopbar, cause I love the sustain of them.

sweet though. I'll have to learn how to

My Ibanez and Yamaha both have string thru and are very stable.

I would have never said that b4 but Terry at Guitars n Stuff made me a believer. That man is near perfection with setting floyds up.

Tune-o-matic

Right now my main guitar is a late 90s model Ibanez RG with an original Edge trem, but I'd rather have a string thru.

Terry just did my RG & it plays better than it has in a long time!

I prefer stop tailpieces paired with a roller-type bridge. That gives me lots of mass (more sustain) and a less abrasive string contact point.
