The Bar closed?

If you are booked to play at The Bar on Broad Avenue, you may want to check ahead on the status of that gig. I was told last night that The Bar is closed, apparently by the building's owner.

That sucks period...another venue bites the dust. Didn't 'The Bar' hire a varied style of genres in entertainment? ...or too much of one style?

They usually had a decent variety of groups, from unplugged classic rock/mellower combos to bands like Four Days Dirty. That's a shame.

We were scheduled to play there the Friday and we recieved a call from Brent (bartender and entertainment booker) and they said they had to close down for the week, and that he would get ahold of us about further dates....so for now we are assuming that it is closed for good until we hear further notice...
