Plaxio Burress proves how much of an idiot his is ..

Did anyone hear about him "Supposedly" shooting himself in the leg on friday? Well, today he was in court for weapons charges and could face 3 1/2 to 15 years if convicted. I never liked the guy and never will like him. But, that does not way sways my opinion in thinking that he is full of crap and is making it up to cover something else that has happen.

I, on the other hand, have always liked Burress. At least on the field. Off the field, he's become a rich, "I'm above the law" punk like so many others. He'd better get his shit together cause the Giants won't put up with him for too long.

I read that with the tougher gun laws that were passed in New York, Burress could be facing a mandatory 3 year prison term. If he's guilty, I hope he does every single day.

Burress has never been the sharpest tool in the shed. Remember when he played for the Steelers and spiked the ball after catching a pass and the Jags defender picked up the fumble?
He's going to do at least 3 1/2 years if he's convicted on either of the 2 charges. They both carry a minimum mandatory sentence and the Mayor of NYC is adamant that he be indicted.

I never much cared for him as a player, and certainly never as a person either.
I'm hoping that they look past the prestige of him being an NFL player, and treat him just like any Joe on the street. Serve at least the min. penalty.
I'm betting he gets off somewhat easy though.

I wonder if Plex said "oh Fudge" when he shot himself? He came close to losing a "lug nut" as well. Maybe some Lifebouy soap in his mouth would straighten him up.

Too bad it only hit his thigh. He's one that could be taken out of the gene pool with little remorse. Only one that would be crying would be his mama.
