No, good tunes, but I was talking about the cover thing.metalchurch wrote:Bill, I have an odd taste in music huh? Those bands dont even belong together in anyway at all, but the BTO and .38 Special are rocked up a little bit.
Whatcha workin on?
workin on...... swingtown by Steve Miller, and twilight zone by golden earring.. Also still looking for a drummer for my side project i want to get rolling, so i can jam out all the 100 other tunes i know and want to play but my current bandmate either don't like them or just can't learn how to play them...lol
Working on Crow in the Snow cover material, but getting side tracked by original material! We all like the distraction, but we are tired of chomping at the bit and want to get out and start playing. We are currently working on four new untitled originals, plus covers from Apocalyptic, Drivin -N- Cryin, and Van Hallen.

I haven't heard that one. I'll have to wander around the net and see if it finds its way on to my computer.
I'm working on a Rush tribute band with some other guys. It may never see the light of day, but it is fun and a lot of work. So far we have been leaning on the material that has keyboards because one of the guys is just a keyboard player. I plan on working in something from just about every era of Rush by the time we're done. Now we just need to find someone that can sing this stuff...

Yeah, it's an original 1931 "Westinghouse" electric. My buddy had it in his basement and gave it to me. We had it restored in New York state and everything works.metalchurch wrote:Bill, I have an odd taste in music huh? You should see my cd collection sometime. It goes from Classic Rock to just about every form of metal until '96 or so.
My theory is, as long as it has a decent guitar sound or riff, then I'm game. I grew up on Classic Rock, so I'll always have a soft spot for it.
RamRod, that is a nice oven there man! I always liked that style, cause it's unique and you dont see that much anymore.
Is that an original oven that was made that way, or was it modded?
DIOdrone, love the screenname man! Dio rules!
Check out the clock on the top. It's an "Automatic" oven and to operate it automatically, you wind the clock and set the alarm and when the alarm goes off, a "knob" on the back trips a switch and the oven comes on.
Check out the clock and notice the chrome lever to the left of the clock. That's the switch.
VERY LOW TECH!

Here's our 1911 Patent "Sterling" coal stove made in Boston. Got it in our log cabin. Nice place for and acoustic, a cup of coffee, (or something worse).
