Testament (photo's added)

Post by onegunguitar »

The show last night in State College killed!!!! What a cool venue to see one of the all time greatest thrash bands from the 80's! If you missed it-it's you're loss!  I'll try and post a few pictures this week. :D

Testament ripped our friggin' heads off, and I got to shake hands with Alex Skolnik, a true guitar hero. In addition, I scored the new "Embalmed" CD at the show. Thanks Guys, see you at church next Sunday. HELL UP!

Any recollection of the set list?

Haha! I bet!! Was it a small club, and really loud? Those are the best!
I should have gotten that ticket from Scott (onegunguitar) I probably could have chanced it and tried to get one at the door, but it was prob sold out.
That's so cool that you met Skolnick! Skolnick/Peterson are legends in the Thrash community, and it's so nice that he's back home with them.

There were a lot of tickets left. The crowd was maybe 150 people. It was like having Testament playing in your living room.

The flamed les paul looking guitar caught my eye. Do you know what kind of guitar that is. Is it made by Heritage?

You are correct sir!
He's supposed to have a sig model soon.
Im sure it will have an astronomical price tag on it.
These are handmade by some of the original luthiers from Gibson to the old specs.

Nice!! Thanks for the photo's Scott!
The guys are lookin good, especially Chuck. It's so aweseome that he's back on stage and he won the battle with cancer.

Yeah those Heritage's are nice, and they're so much better built than any recent Gibson.

I actually think they were Alex's signature models,or at least they had his signature on the headstock.

Man, Skolnicks looks changed, then, age will do that to you - He is still an awesome guitar player though.
