Wow that's awsome... Thanx for the "heads up" JP....

Is their appearance in support of a new CD or something special?

I haven't had a chance to see them live, yet, :) but that a Band I've enjoyed every time I've heard them on the Backyard Rocker is going to be on National TV...and they sound like a bunch of great kids to boot, is simply AWESOME!

...or Conan! Going on Conan would have put thier "hip" credibility through the roof. :D

(Too bad most of Conan's musical guests are pretentious, no-talent indie-type bands that most people have never heard of and will never hear of again)

Halestorm is a band that (literally) grew up in front of our eyes. The band is based around Lzzy (guitar, vocals, writing) and Arejay (drums), a brother and sister that have been playing their entire lives. They are from PA, and some of us have seen them since Arejay was about 11 or 12. Amazing band, amazing family, and some of the nicest people you'd ever meet. They've played locally until PLCB stopped them due to both Lzzy and Arejay being underage. A true PA success story.

That's awesome. Guys (and gal), if you read this, I believe luck had nothing to do with it. You worked hard, and now you're on Leno. Good for you!----------->JMS

I can remember seeing them when they were they first started out. One
of the times was at Q94 fest at Cresson. This is a group that has worked hard and definitiely paid their dues. They are doing what they love. I wish them the best, and hope the have continued success. Kudos to Liz and Arejay.

This is just way too cool! I can also remember when they were first starting out, playing at Lakemont Park. Arejay was just a little fellow, barely able to reach the pedals on his drum kit! Much more success to Halestorm, they deserve everything that comes their way.

What's this VCR you talk of? I am not sure I remember those....

Anyways, this is awesome for them and I felt it deserved bumped.

Whatever it is you record television shows with these days (TiVo, VCR, movie camera, camcorder, etc.), set it for TONIGHT (Wed.)...Halestorm just posted a bulletin on Myspace indicating that the Tonight Show producers have told them their segment is being bumped up to tonight. Also, they won't know until after this afternoon's taping if they will make the cut and actually be on the show. They're to post on their Myspace site as soon as they know for sure.

As their tour manager (Lzzy and Arejay's mom, Beth) said, "That's showbiz!"

 Dang it, we won't have our NBC clear enough by tonight. :( Those late night shows are notorious for doing crap like that.
Last month I believe it was, Chris and Rich Robinson were due to be on Letterman on a Tuesday night...heh, they weren't on until Friday.

Okay, it's official, Halestorm IS on The Tonight Show; they will appear after Jay Leno's monologue (early in the program) in a segment called "JayWalking."

For those who live within range of WGAL-TV 8, they reportedly will be interviewing Lzzy about the Tonight Show appearance before and/or after the show during their newscast.
